Linux Support Policy
What we cover on a Bazzite PC
Same hardware warranty as our Windows PCs.
The OS as shipped: it boots, it updates, and it gets you to the desktop and to Steam.
If an update breaks boot, hold Esc at startup and pick the previous version, then call us. Bazzite keeps the last working version on the drive for exactly this reason.
Lighting runs through OpenRGB, which is preloaded and set up before your PC ships.
What we do not cover
Anti-cheat and publisher choices are out of our hands, and we do not take returns because a game will not launch on Linux. Publishers can drop Linux at any time. Ubisoft did that to For Honor in September. Check your games at areweanticheatyet.com before you order.
NVIDIA's Linux driver is behind AMD's. DX12 games run slower than on Windows, and G-Sync and HDR can flicker or need to be turned off.
If you install something else alongside or over Bazzite, the hardware warranty still stands but the software support does not.
Armoury Crate, iCUE, L-Connect, NZXT CAM and HYTE Nexus do not exist on Linux. Coolers and fans run on their built-in curves, and LCD coolers show their default screen.
Bazzite can corrupt them. Format game drives inside Bazzite.
Same hardware. Add a Windows license any time. Secure Boot is already on, so nothing in BIOS needs to change.
